Hello, My name is Linda Verhoeff. I was born in Holland and immigrated to New Zealand with my family in the early 80s, proudly making Aotearoa my permanent home. I have always held a passion for creativity, exploring a diverse range of artistic mediums. However, my true calling revealed itself in 2005 through a beautifully unexpected moment.
When my then three year old daughter asked to make me a fairy, that was when I picked up polymer clay for the first time. Admittedly, that very first creation was far from perfect, but it sparked a real determination to teach myself the art of sculpting, focusing on mastering the delicate forms of pretty whimsical fairies.
What began as a mother's loving project quickly blossomed into a lifelong artistic pursuit. I find joy in learning new techniques with each new one-of-a-kind doll I sculpt.
